Arrangements have been made for the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) with the Towns of Derry and Londonderry to hold a combined Public Officials/Public Informational Meeting. The intent of this meeting is to update the public on the Exit 4A interchange study. The new interchange will be located between the existing Exit 4 and Exit 5 on Interstate 93 in the Town of Londonderry. This project is intended to relieve traffic along NH Route 102 through the Town of Derry and allow for economic development.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 7:00 pm at the Derry Municipal Center, 14 Manning Street, 3rd Floor, in Derry, NH.
This project may have an effect on historic properties. Owners of properties determined eligible for the National Register of Historic Places that abut the project alternatives may have an opportunity to become consulting parties. Additional information will be provided at the public informational meeting.
The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project and to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, the NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination
